When I first began taking portraits as a high-schooler, never in my wildest dreams would I have been able to imagine the connections, opportunities, and unmatched happiness that photography would bring to my life. The past few years have blessed me with new friendships and countless avenues through which I have been able to cultivate my business.
Since deciding to take a leap and go full-time with my business in 2021, I have won first place in WSVA's Shenandoah Valley Best contest in 2022 and 2023; been nominated as a finalist for the DNR's Best of the Valley contest in 2021, 2022, and 2023; and been published nine times in international portrait magazines. My younger self never would have fathomed being a published photographer, and I owe every ounce of my success to those who have supported me so constantly.
